
BirdLife Czech Society for Ornithology (ČSO) is the largest Czech non-governmental organisation focused on the research and protection of birds and their habitats. Its activities inspire the general public to respect nature and support biodiversity.
ČSO brings together professional and amateur ornithologists, birdwatchers and nature lovers. It currently has more than 8,500 members who contribute to monitoring, protection of important sites and educational programmes.
As the Czech partner of BirdLife International, ČSO promotes nature conservation based on scientific knowledge and supports the development of ornithology across political borders.
