Libchavští Chlupáči is a vegan-run animal sanctuary in Horní Libchava, Czech Republic. Its main mission is rescuing so-called farm animals from abuse and from being sent to slaughter. Cows, pigs, goats, sheep, hens and many others find safety, veterinary care and a dignified life here.
The story began in 2017, when the founders left their small flat, bought a plot with a cabin in Horní Libchava, built the first paddocks and welcomed the first members of their animal family. In August 2022 they opened the farm to the public and founded the Libchavští Chlupáči association.
Beyond rescue and care, the association speaks up about the cruelty animals face. Every rescued animal has its own story on the farm website, and the team runs public events, the Farmarun charity run and the vegan bistro O chlup lepší bistro.
Buying out and transporting cows, pigs, goats, sheep, hens and other animals facing abuse or slaughter.
Shelter, feed and veterinary care for life. The animals are not bred and are never sold on.
