Veggie Náplavka is, in my view, the most enjoyable event of its kind in Prague and the biggest Czech vegan open air festival. Once a year the Rašínovo nábřeží riverfront turns into a plant-based food festival where dozens of stalls show how diverse and delicious food without meat can be.
I support it personally - not only by attending, but by recommending it to everyone who wants to taste that changing your diet does not have to mean giving anything up. Every plant-based meal means a lighter footprint on the planet and its animals.
The whole event was built by the team behind Vegan Fighter, a Czech project living by the motto Fight for animals. Vegan Fighter is a media outlet and community devoted to veganism - it covers animals, the planet, nutrition, sport and lifestyle, and runs its own projects: Veggie Náplavka, Veggie Christmas, Planet Fest, Vegan Restaurant of the Year, Vegan Psychology webinars, the Vegan Fighter Shop and aid for Ukrainian animals.
The festival traditionally takes place in September on the embankment below Vyšehrad. Entry is free and the atmosphere is always great.
At the same time, Veggie Náplavka is a meeting point for Czech and international projects that protect animals and the planet.
I support this project directly, not through proceeds from a specific edition.
All direct support of the project goes through the organization's official website.
